BRALO, manufacturer of rivets, contributes to a more ecological future by installing photovoltaic panels in its facilities for self-consumption of energy and reducing emissions.
This project carried out by BRALO is covered by the incentive program linked to self-consumption and storage, with renewable energy sources, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU funds, ascending the amount of the aid to €37,500, out of a total investment of €250,000.
Sustainability and environmental awareness are an integral part of the fundamental values of this industrial company, which is why it approaches this project responsibly.
The Spanish rivet manufacturer has incorporated 892 photovoltaic modules 555 Wp into its production plant and headquarters in Pinto (Madrid).
ADVANTAGES OF THE BRALO SELF-CONSUMPTION INSTALLATION
- This installation generates 495,060kW peak, which allows maintaining a maximum power of up to 330 kW several hours a day in the central months of the year.
- The photovoltaic installation will help BRALO reduce its emissions by more than 169,730 tons of CO2 each year.
- In addition, you will ensure that up to 30% of the energy your facilities need is completely self-generated and renewable.
PRESENT CONSCIOUSNESS FOR SUSTAINABILITY
The rivets manufacturer is aware of the importance of communication in value chains, which is why it generates reports on the Carbon Footprint.
Companies have not yet requested these reports, but BRALO is ahead of the legislation that will require the preparation of this type of reports.
In addition, it seeks sustainability in its production processes, as well as that of its suppliers, which is why it is certified with ISO 14001 and complies with the RoHS community directive and the REACH regulation.
